Right now I'm a one-person show, which means that I do all of the researching, writing, recording, editing, publishing, and managing of my work. I pay for web hosting and the tools and editing software that's necessary for keeping all of this work live on the web. Your financial contribution not only covers the logistical expenses of running the blog and podcast, but also supports my living expenses and provides me with freedom and peace of mind so I can devote more time to creating! You’re helping me reach my goal of being supported by my creative work full.

Also, it is your behind-the-scenes access to the art I create. Monthly patrons have access to a patron portal on Patreon where I post exclusive posts and updates. And depending on how much you contribute each month, you are the first to know about upcoming projects and art, receive a discount for the shop, have early access to my videos, and more! Patreon is an online platform that makes it possible for creators to be supported by the people who love their work. By joining as a member on my Patreon page, you get access to my patron-only posts and all of the special perks of the tier you select.

To become a monthly supporter, choose JOIN beneath the subscription tier on my Patreon page that has the benefits you’d like to enjoy or that is closest to the amount you’d like to give each month. (If you want to give a custom amount, you can enter it at checkout).

Go through the checkout process on Patreon to sign up and create your membership account. You'll be charged immediately once you join and then again every month until you decide to cancel your membership.

You’ll then gain access to my page on Patreon where I share private posts just for patrons. Whenever I post, you’ll get a notification (if you have that setting turned on!) and you can comment on the posts and interact with other members, too (if you want to!). There’s no pressure to interact or engage; you are also welcome to be a silent supporter if that’s your preference.

You’ll manage your membership, payment details, and notification preferences all on Patreon. (And with that same account, you can also support other creators who are on Patreon, too!).

Alsos is what I call my patron portal and community on Patreon. The term “alsos” means “grove,” and in ancient times, it meant a sacred grove of trees often dedicated to a local nymph or god. It’s my hope that you’ll feel nourished by the art, writings, and bonuses you find in the patron portal.
