Online Harvest Ceremony
On October 1st, 2023, join me and Linda Pappa — an incredible Greek artist based on the island of Crete — as we welcome in the Harvest season and explore its deep relevance to our lives. I’ll be sharing the teachings of the Grape — a Harvest vine of merriment, celebration, and fertility. An essential aspect of the Grape’s wisdom is communion via consumption: to take into the body that which we Harvest in order to integrate its wisdom into our lives. Wine, in particular, offers a pathway to communion, and I will be guiding us through an imbibing meditation to meet this unifying essence of the Grapevine. (For those who do not drink alcohol, you are welcome to drink either grape juice or vinegar instead).

A ceremony to honour and integrate our transition into the season of wild wisdom
There is a shift happening, both within and without, as we make our way out of Summer’s Fire into the embrace of Autumn. It is a time of harvest, of taking stock.
What is there to collect? What is there to release back into the ground?
During our gathering, we will take the time to come into presence and be guided by Autumn’s medicine. We will be journeying together, with wine as an oracular medium. We will explore the fruits our soul is ready to reap during this time. We will be meeting pathways of inner wisdom through creativity. This 2-hour immersion will allow us to take the space that we all need to really integrate into this seasonal shift and allow it to work through us over our next months.

✺ FALL ENERGY, SYMBOLISM & MEDICINE
Getting familiar and finding alignment with the energy of Fall. Exploring how it relates to our inner worlds. Exploring symbolic and archetypal personifications of Fall that we can embody and connect to.
✺ WINE MEDITATION
A guided journey using wine as an oracular medium. We will connect to the spirit of the grapevine and receive guidance for this time.
We’ll be joined by Mira Karakitsou, a Greek-American artist and herbalist whose work I love. Mira will be sharing with us the teachings of the Grape — a Harvest vine of merriment, celebration, and fertility. An essential aspect of the Grape’s wisdom is communion via consumption. For those who do not drink alcohol, Grape juice can be imbibed.
✺ CREATIVE HARVESTING
We will open a space for creative practice, working with personal symbols and words to create representations of our year’s harvest.
WHEN | Sunday October 1st at 11am-1:30pm EST. The full gathering will be recorded for those who cannot attend live.
WHERE | We will meet on Zoom. A few days before the event, you will receive an email with the Zoom link to the workshop as well as some instructions on how to prepare your space.
