Unshakable

Rocks protruding into the sea

I am petrified, barnacled,
and stubborn.
A hard edge for waves to break.
A pocked surface for salt to form.
Your sea rushes into my crevices,
your creatures scuttle over my bones.

I know patience.
I know endurance.
I know Time.
